the feel of his arms
     around
          her waist
     still
haunts her nights
those arms
     those strong arms
          with hands
          working diligently
               feeding the
          flame
she holds for him
the flame
     that won�t let the

          loneliness

     habitating her
          heart
grow cold
despite
     the cold
          that reigns
               her empty
                    bed
          crystallizes
               her hidden
                    dreams
