(CAS) is one of the New York City Board of Education alternative high schools,
operating administratively within the Superintendency for Alternative, Schools,
Adult Education and Continuing Education. Its students are 11th and
12th graders who come from any of 85 public, private or parochial
schools within the five boroughs. Its four campuses are in Manhattan, Brooklyn,
the Bronx and Queens. Collectively, the four sites offer over 500 internship
opportunities to its students.
