INTERPRETATION

The interpretation of the critical lens is that a courageous person is someone who never go back in their goals, is a person that always try to do the best and work hard to reach what they really want. So almost what the critical lens said is that when we are doing something and we have problems with it we and only we solve those problems without losing our heart. This is what make us a courageous person.
I agree with the critical lens because I think that now in the present we have to face many problems and we have to be courageous to solve this problems. I also agree that when we have problems we have to still work hard to solve it and that each time that we think that we are lost we have to have the courage to go foward to make it better.
In the story Casablanca by Vicente D there is a character who showed that he is a courageous person. His name is Rick Blaine and he is a strong person who always fought hard to reach his goals. The scene that I remenber from Casablanca and that shows that Rick is a courageous person was when he had to sacrifice his love for Ilsa. He had to leave away from her because he thought that if she stayed with him she will be in danger and that she will be better away. So now I can say that Rick is a courageous person because he had the courage to leave Isla to that she can be ok.
Another work that I read before and that supports the critical lens is Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmund Rostand. Cyrano is a French poet from the past. He is a character who liked poetry and art and one thing that showed his personality was the plume in his hat. It showed that he is romantic, a strong person who love art and also the language that Cyrano used show the kind of person that he was. Cyrano was in love with a girl named Roxanne but loved another person who was Christian. When Cyrano knew that Roxanne loved another person, he was sad but at the same time he wanted Roxanne to be happy. So Cyrano helped Roxanne and Christian To marry. That scene show to us that Cyrano was a courageous person.
In conclusion I can said that the both characters, Rick and Cyrano, they both showed courage and that they went foward in a problem without losing the heart. They were both courageous people.
