and After School
Tech Leaders: An afterschool club dedicated to learning the latest computer applications, developing websites, troubleshooting and repairing hardware, and configuring operating systems and programs.
WISE Program: Students are paired with faculty mentors and internship placements to gain life experience and pursue personal development.
Project Adventure: UHHS' unique Physical Education challenge course, including ice breakers, games, trust activities, debriefs and use of the ropes course.
Passages: A program of group discussions, creative expression, role-plays, journaling, and other activities helping students deal with the social and emotional developmental challenges of adolescence. The fall term begins with an emphasis on creating community trust, friendship and self-esteem.
Family Group: Students meet each morning to set goals, solve problems and provide support for each other. Family Group is also a formal vehicle for addressing school wide problems and concerns.
LYFE Program: The LYFE program provides a rich early childhood experience for the infant children of our students, focusing on social emotional, physical, and cognitive development. A supportive environment helps our young parents grow in their roles as parent and student.
