What is the Camelot Violence Prevention and Education Curriculum?
This program is a support program that is available to all students of Concord High School. We provide counseling for students who have things going on in their life that they need help with. The counseling is done through one on one sessions and groups.
How can Camelot help you?
If you're having a problem with a teacher, come to us. If you want to avoid conflict with another student, come to us. Even if the problem has absolutely nothing to do with school itself, you can come to us. Here at Camelot, we offer a variety of services for students just like you. We understand that life is difficult and offer our services to help the students at Concord in any way we possibly can. No appointment is necessary, just come to room 204 and ask to speak to a counselor.
Group Counseling- The following is a list of groups that are currently available through Camelot:
Music Group
Art Group
See a group you want to join? Do you have an idea for a group of your own? See James in room 204 or Dennis in room 251.
Student Advisory Council- The student advisory council is a group of students who are interested in making Concord a better place for everyone. Members of the group participate in classroom presentations to educate their classmates about a variety of subjects from conflict resolution to racism. Members also create the school's anti-violence newsletter and perfrom peer mediation when necessary. All members get paid for their work on the council, so it's a great way to make a little extra cash while helping your school.
