"One of students was selected for the Iron Hose/Pegasus award. There are only 26 awards given each year".

DANCE CLUB:

Students danced at South Street Seaport, the Puerto Rico and Dominican Day Parades and at Senior Citizen Centers.

PEER COUNCIL:

Students participated in El Caribe al Compas de Puerto Rico at HCC; They wrote and performed a Traffic play with senior citizens from the community at the SADD Conference.

AMERICAN ISRAEL FRIENDSHIP ALLIANCE:

Students participating in Israeli-American Friendship Alliance.  Four of our students were selected as Youth Ambassadors and went to Israel for 3 weeks.

BASE GRANT CARNIVAL

Students organized a carnival with proceeds going to Lincoln Hospital

NEWSPAPER

Published 4 issues each year.   Prepared and edited by the Journalism class.

COLLEGE NOW

A Hostos Community College collaborative program that orients 11th and 12th grade students to the differences between high school and college and encourages them to set higher levels of expectations for themselves.

LIBERTY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

a program to prevent high school dropout and encourage college success for Latino youth.

LAW DAY

Visiting judges, and lawyers addressed the 11th graders who are studying government.

MULTICULTURAL ASSEMBLIES

our students are recognized for all their efforts and work.

CHRISTIAN CLUB

this included members form all faiths meeting and discussing ways to improve relations.

ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

In this award our students are recognized for all extra curricular activities.
