While at NYC VTC you will improve your reading abilities and basic math skills.

Students who enter the New York City Vocational Training Center work with a vocational and an academic teacher on a daily basis. Although your academic instruction in individually designed, each of our classes will center its core curriculum on improving your abilities in English and Mathematics. Students work with an academic teacher who provides individualized assistance and charts your progress using the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE).
