THE ADMISSION PROCESS AT VTC |
|||
The Intake Office at NYC VTC initiates the admission process for potential students. During this process, students are interviewed and screened so that they may be directed to an appropriate vocational strand (automotive trades, building trades, chairside dental assisting, clerical/office practices, elder care, food services, healthcare support services and hotel/hospitality). Students are also counseled as to the appropriate academic path to follow. (Basic Literacy, Pre-GED studies, GED or Diploma Completion Program) All VTC students receive instruction in job readiness and life skills. |
