The TALL Program
at the Robert F. Wagner Jr. Secondary School for Arts & Technology,
Long Island City, New York

What is TALL?
TALL is an interdisciplinary tenth grade course combining English, History and Technology at the Robert F. Wagner Jr. Secondary School for Arts & Technology in Long Island City, New York.

We look at what it means to be a member of a group and what it means not to be a member of a group, or to be "the other." We look at what this means for us as individuals and at what it has meant for other people during the 20th century. This class works with two wonderful programs: FHAO - Facing History and Ourselves and I-EARN - the International Education and Resource Network. We primarily focus on the events that led to the Holocaust. In doing this, we communicate with students from all around the world. This program started in the 2000/2001 school year. On this website, you can see the work of the students from previous years as well as the work of current students. This year's students will be adding their work on the site during the year.
