This is a short term project on sexually transmitted diseases.
Although there will be time for completion of this project during regular
school hours (you will probably feel rushed), you may find it helpful to
do work outside of class. This document is posted on the
"documents" function of the Nicenet.org web site that we
use. You may of course access this site from outside of the school by
using your username and password.
Overview of Project: This project will require you to gather
information on two (2) sexually transmitted diseases and assemble the
basic information in a pamphlet or poster. The pamphlet or poster must
include specific information which is listed below.
Grading: You will receive two grades for this project:
- Classroom effort/notes
- Final Product
All of the work you do on stds (film notes, information notes, rough
drafts and final copies) is to be handed in and will considered part of
your project.
Details:
- You will see a film on STDs during which it is expected that you
will take notes (notes to be handed with final project)
- You will be assigned two stds to research
- Links to STD information have been posted on the link sharing
function of nicenet.org.
- We will spend 3 days in the computer roomThursday and Friday
April 25th and 26th and Tuesday, April
30th. Monday (29th) and Wednesday (5/1) will be
spent in the classroom. During this time you may assemble your material
